GCSE results 2011

We have had another very successful year, with 73% of our students gaining at least 5 high grades (C+) in their GCSEs. At Settlebeck, that means GCSEs too, not the many ‘equivalent’ qualifications that some schools do. Since the highest target the Government set the school was 72% we are very proud of this achievement.
Year 10s took their GCSEs too for the first time this year at Settlebeck, with many good results, particularly in Science and Maths, where there were a high number of A*s and As.
Congratulations to all those who took exams this summer!
